Magali Mattar graduated in European Law from Maastricht University in 2016. During her Bachelor’s degree, she completed an academic exchange in Singapore and undertook an internship at the Belgian Embassy in Uganda. She then continued her studies at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, where she obtained a Master’s degree in International Law in 2018. During this time, she also completed an internship at an international organization in Geneva and participated in an academic exchange in Mexico.
Her professional journey has led her to work as a lawyer handling strategic litigation in corruption cases in Mexico. She also worked for two years as a paralegal at a firm specialising in obtaining damages for European law infringements.
In 2021, she completed her academic journey by obtaining a Master’s degree in Belgian Law at KU Leuven.
Magali was admitted to the French-speaking Bar Association of Brussels in June 2022, initially practicing in a firm specialising in Belgian public law. She then joined LEXENTIA in October 2023 to pursue her passion for European law. In this role, she assists Me Nathalie de Montigny in handling cases related to the European civil service law.
Her working languages are French, English, Spanish, and Dutch.
